In 2005 Germany became the worlds largest exporter, and has remained there since. In 2007 China moved up to position  number 2.

The only way the US could have moved up over both Germany and China is if the horrid exchange rate made the numbers do a little shift. Measuring in Real Products, it is Germany and then China. China is expected to be number one in 2009 or 2010.</description>
